Version 10.3 has been released

Posted on March 8, 2012

Version 10.3 has arrived.

You can download this update by going to the help menu inside RentMaster and choose Download RentMaster Update. If you have any problems downloading the update automatically, you can also download it manually from http://www.rentmaster.co.nz/update.aspx

Whats New?

- You can now attach multiple files at once on the attachment screen.  Optionally these files can also be copied to a central server location.  This means you may be able to copy files off a camera and into RentMaster with one action.

- Attachments can now be added to work orders.

- A new Transaction List report has been created.  This is the same format as pressing the Print button on the cashbook screen.

- On the tenant and property details screen, if you click the Link To button, you can now link to a list of inspections associated with that property or tenant.

- If you delete a rule from the statement rules screen, the cursor no longer jumps up to the top again.

- The rules window resize is now remembered when it is opened again.

- When an import rule was edited, and the notes or payee was changed, a new rules was being created.  This will no longer happen.

Coming in v10.3 - Link to inspections

Posted on March 1, 2012

In the next version 10.3 of RentMaster, from both the Property and Tenant screens, the Link To button will have a new option called Inspections.

This menu will open a list of all inspections related to that tenant or property.  From there you can edit or delete the inspection, just as if you were on the inspection schedule screen.  This creates a short cut to finding previous or next inspections.

Coming in v10.3 - New Transaction List report

Posted on March 1, 2012

In the next version 10.3 of RentMaster, a new report has been created called the Transaction List report.

This report is exactly the same as the one created by pressing the Print button on the cashbook screen.  The difference is this one is not printed for a single bank account.  This report will allow you to specify a date range, and all transactions across all bank accounts will be printed.

Coming in v10.3 - A series of small changes

Posted on March 1, 2012

A series of small changes have been added to the next release.

- If a rule is deleted from the import rules screen, the cursor will attempt to remain on the same row it was on instead of moving back up to the top.

- If the import rules window is resized, it will now remember that size when it is reopened again.

- When editing a rule, if you change the payee of notes, it would create a new rule instead of changing the old one.  This has been fixed.

- On the budget print report, the budget name is not printed in the report title.
