The owner transaction summary report prints the tenants name and payment details at the top of the report. If tenants are created with very long names, the payment details or part of the name may get truncated.
In version 10.2, the name and payment details will wrap into the following line if required.

RentMaster has the ability to import your bank statement. Bank statements can sometimes contain a very large number of transactions, especially if you dont import it very often.
In the coming version 10.2, you will have the ability to hide transactions on the import screen which are complete and do not require any further attention. This will filter the list down to just those ones which need fixing prior to importing. You will also have the option to show all, which will unhide them again.

A range of small changes are coming to the next release
- When importing bank statements, the rules screen is now fully sizable so the grid at the bottom of the rules screen can be made bigger.
- The Automatic Extra Fees and Automatic Extra Charges list screens both now include the descrption.
- On the Future Rent Changes report, any tenant who is closed is excluded automatically.
- When editing a transaction in the cashbook, the first control to have focus has been changes to the amount field. This is to avoid people inadvertently opening the screen and then using the scroll wheel on their mouse and changing the property. This does not affect new transactions.
- On the owner list report, if the data is too long to fit in the field, then instead of overlapping other information, it will be truncated.

The existing Owner Profit and Loss report is a version of the Profit and Loss report designed from the owners perspective. Therefore management fees are shown as an expense. This report is suitable to giving to owners.
In the next version, if the report is printed for a specific owner, the owners name is printed at the top of the report in a caption which says something like 'Prepared For Joe Bloggs'

Google has created a great mapping facility (http://maps.google.com)
In the next version 10.1 of RentMaster, we are going to take advantage of this free service. A new map button will be added to each address, which when clicked, will open a new browser window where you can view the map of the specified address online. This applies to both owner addresses, the property address, the tenants forwarding address and the 2 contractors addresses.

Extra fees can be automatically generated as a result of creating an expense, whose expense group has a fee percentage or fee value set against it.
When these fees are printed on the owner transaction summary report, they include the expense group code and the property code as part of the description. If the property code and/or expense group has a long code, and if tax is also printed on the statement, the amount of room on the report is sometimes not enough and the descriptions overlap each other. From version 10.1 the description will now wrap onto the next line below if there is not enough space.

For people that use the bank statement import function, the rules feature makes the whole process a lot faster and less error prone.
However after a while you end up with a lot of rules, and some become obsolete or in need of modification. So in version 10.1 of RentMaster we will make finding old rules a bit easier. All columns in the rules table are now sortable by clicking the column heading. Also we have added the Property as a column and the Tenant as a column. Of course those columns are sortable too.
