Whats New?
- Many list screens have now got a new filter search box which searches on all content in all columns of the list.
- On the Extra Charges screen, a new print button has been added. This will print an invoice for a single extra charge.
- In the mail merge facility, which sending letters to email recipients, there is now an option to only list tenants who have an email address.
- In the Mail Merge facility, when generating tenant letters, the tenants property code is now also shown for information purposes.
- A new Date Add calculator has been created for calculating future dates e.g. today + 60 days.
- The last paid date and amount has been added to the Rent Arrears on the Overview screen.
- The Extra Charges screen is now resizable.
- When saving pictures in the Inspection screen, they are now set to 'View on RentRecall.com' automatically.
Coming in v10.5 - Rent Arrears on the Overview Screen
The rent arrears shown on the overview screen has changed slightly. The last paid date and amount has now been added. This was already available on the Rent Status screen, so it is now also available on the overview screen as well.
Coming in v10.5 - Date Add Calculator
Working with dates is something landlords and property managers do a lot.
For example, you want to increase the rent 60 day from the coming Monday. Working out what date that is can be quite time consuming, and normally ends up with you and a calendar, counting the days.
So a new Date Add calculator is being created. You enter in the start date, and then choose to either add or subtract a specifyed number of days, weeks or months, and RentMaster will calculate the end date for you.
Coming in v10.5 - List filtering
A lot of screens which have lists on them, like the tenant list screen or the owner list screen or the extra charge list screen etc have all got a new search box which you can use for filtering.
You can type anything into the search box, and the list will be filtered for any row which contains the thing you typed in any of the columns. So you could be on the tenant list screen and type part or all of the property code, because the property code is shown on the tenant list screen. Of you could type part of the tenants first or last names.
This is going to be very helpful for people with long lists such as a lot of tenants or many extra charges. This is very simple, but I think also for some people very powerful.
Coming in v10.5 - Mail Merge Facility
In v10.5, the mail merge facility is getting a few changes.
- When a Tenant letter is generated, the list of tenant names will now have the propertry code in brackets at the end of the name so uou can more easily identify the tenant based on their property.
- If the letter is being generated as a bulk email, there is now an option to only include tenant names for people who have email addresses.
Coming in v10.5 - Extra Charge Invoice
When creating an extra charge to a tenant, you will be able to press a Print button on the extra charge screen, which will print an invoice or a single extra charge. The report format is the same as the Tenant Invoice report.
Also, the extra charge screen is now resizable so you can make it bigger if you wish.
